Why Vivid exists
Live visuals have great tools, but most of them treat sound and picture as separate worlds bolted together after the fact. Vivid starts from the opposite premise: sound and picture are one signal path you perform. It is a new instrument for live visuals - play them together, rewire the path between them live, author your own operators with code and AI, and fork the whole thing.
The built-in looks are teaching examples. The real idea is that you make your own - and that an AI agent can build alongside you over MCP, not just tweak knobs. That is the north star the whole app is plumbed for.
Who makes it
Vivid is built by See Through Lab. It is an independent project, in active development, released as signed macOS builds through GitHub Releases.

Made with Vivid. The Gallery attributes every piece to its maker. Testimonials and a notable-creator strand arrive as real users come on board - honest and empty-until-real, per our house rule. Using Vivid? Submit your work.
